5K and Fun Run to support Latimer Lane PTO activities. Open to all skill levels, from "fast runners" to "mostly walkers".
Healthy bodies support healthy minds! Grab your running shoes, families and friends and join us for an invigorating run in the Latimer Lane School district.
The Fun Run will start at 10:00 in front of Latimer Lane School and run around the fields of the school, ending at a balloon arch in front of the school. Open to all ages, families, friends, and runners.
The 5K will start at 10:30AM at Valley View (across the street from Latimer Lane School) proceed to Redstone, then left to cross the gate onto Old Canal Way, turn onto the Minister Brook Nature Path, cross over Latimer Lane, left on Mountain View Dr. , right on Parsons, left onto Simsbury Manor, left onro Mountain View, and finishing at Latimer Lane School.
This run is also open to all ages, families, friends, and runners.
Both Male and Female first place 5 K winners from each grade or ages 13-14, 15-29, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+ will win a prize.
Race Shirts guaranteed for all of those registering by 09/08/2019 for the Fun Run or 5K.
All proceeds support phyiscal education at Latimer Lane Elementary School.
